Mission Update

You have been having a great week. You have gotten a lot accomplished and have almost completed your mission for the week. You have completed your science test and comic strip. Today you need to complete your measurement assignment and get the brainstorming sheet for your board game finished. Great work!

Online Stopwatch

I have added an online stopwatch that you can use when working in class. You can set the timer to let you know how long you have to work on an assignment or until our next transition! Click on the link under "tools" to use it.

Computer Lab Assignment

Today in computers you need to finish typing up your Narrative. You need to add your name at the top of the page and a title that is bold and underlined. Before the end of the period you need to save your assignment your own folder on the S:Drive. Instructions on how to do this are below.

1. Click "File"
2. Click "Save As"
3. Click the arrow at the top of the page and fine "My Computer"
4. Click "S:Drive"
5. Click "Grade 5"
6. Click "Shearim"
7. Click on your folder
8. Give your file this title: (First Name) Narrative
9. Click "Save"

Agenda Change

There is a change to the Agenda for today (Mon. Dec. 12). We have an assembly from 2:20 to 3:00 so math will be right after French today and we will be working on Art during bell work.

Monday Mission

Good Morning! Every Monday, I will give you a list of assignments you must finish this week to complete your mission. Remember if you have and questions, please ask!

1. Alcohol Awareness Comic Strip
- Think of a scenario where you may be tempted to drink and what techniques you could use (as we discussed in class) to remove yourself from the situation
- You must complete the draft worksheet and have me check it (Due: Wednesday)
- After our conference you can complete your good copy (Due: Friday)

2. Human Body Test
- Our test will be Tuesday during the middle block
- You have a two sided review sheet you can use to study at home
- You must also study the five diagrams in your notebook (one will be on the test)

3. Human Body Board Game
- You will pick a partner on Tuesday and start planning your game
- The criteria for your game will be given to you in a hand out
- You will have time everyday this week to build your game and write the instructions

4. Measurement
- This week we will be working on converting units of measurement
- If you are having any problems you can come in for extra help at 8:30 A.M.
